Worldline to hire 5,000 in global recruitment drive

Payments player Worldline has announced plans to hire 5,000 new members of staff as part of its global expansion strategy.

The French payments and transactional services company, which has been operating from its HQ in Bezons, France since 1974 said it is looking to recruit thousands talented people to continue its consolidation strategy.

The company also said the hiring spree will accelerate its technology transformation and provide clients around the world with new payments offerings.

The group is recruiting for both junior roles as well as for experienced senior placements. The new recruitments will be primarily tech operators, developers, engineers, application managers, architects, products managers, products owners and data analysts.

The 5,000 new hires will join more than 20,000 existing employees in more than 50 countries.
Worldline recently presented its new strategic plan, which is said is aimed ay being the premium global PayTech company in the European payment ecosystem.

As part of plans to accelerate global expansion and technology transformation, the company said it has sped up the digitization of commerce and is committed to supporting the high deman from its clients and their adoption of new payments trends.

Commenting on the move, Olivier Burger, group head of human resources at Worldline said: “Our people are the heart and soul of our company, and our aim is to establish Worldline as the employer of choice in the payment industry.
