Revolut updates app with new design features

Revolut has unveiled a redesign of its money management app.

The release of the 7.0 app will enable the digital challenger bank's 12 million customers to access all their finances from a single, more streamlined application.

Branded as the latest step in Revolut’s journey to becoming a ‘financial super app’, the user experience is splits finances into two distinct sections: home and wealth.

The home tab is aimed at helping customers budget, with a view of both their Revolut accounts and their Open Banking linked accounts, with easy access to budgeting and analytics tools.

The new wealth section brings together stocks, cryptocurrencies, commodities and Revolut Vaults to help customers save, invest and manage their money.

A spokesman said: “Over the next few months, Revolut will roll out exciting new products across several markets to help customers get more from their money, including more personalisation and products to help customers manage their subscriptions.”
