Nationwide partners AND Digital for data transformation

Nationwide Building Society (NBS) has partnered with AND Digital to enhance their users’ data experience.

The digital transformation company will work closely with Nationwide to enable its employees and customers to receive real-time and more consistent updates and information – whether in person, online, or over the phone.

AND Digital will also streamline efficiencies for NBS employees by developing platforms and processes for employees across the building society, which will include an enhanced cloud infrastructure as part of the data strategy.

For NBS business customers, AND Digital will also help to accelerate the development of digital capabilities and empower organisations to build digital products, grow internal capabilities, and help drive innovation to help businesses succeed over the long term.

Umesh Jetha, data integrity director and CDAO, at Nationwide Building Society, said: “With multiple products and services available, and various touch points members can contact us on, it is vital that they can enjoy a seamless experience wherever and whenever they engage with us.”

She added: “Utilising data is key to offering exceptional member experiences, as well as unlocking a wealth of insights into our members.”

Commenting on the partnership, Amol Punekar, executive & head of business unit at AND Digital, said: “Building societies like NBS are sitting on a wealth of insights that can help them meet the ever-changing expectations of members - be that in the products and services they offer or best practice ways of connecting with them.”

He added: “However, robust teams, processes and products are needed to capitalise on the opportunity to achieve this.”
