Mastercard has launched a new business intelligence platform for European banks.
Market Trends is an online tool which will provide a comprehensive view of payments insights, competitive intelligence and industry trends for financial institutions.
The platform will offer consumer, industry and marketplace insights on more than 2,000 cards across 34 markets.
Now available for issuers across Europe, Mastercard has plans to expand it outside Europe.
Mark Barnett, president of Mastercard Europe, said: “With insight into the most cutting-edge trends and consumer needs, financial institutions can identify and deploy the technology and initiatives that will super serve their customers and adapt to the constant evolution in how people shop and pay.”
