Handelsbanken Norway modernises wealth management with new platform

Handelsbanken Norway has partnered with Tietoevry to expand and consolidate its offering of wealth management products on a new platform.

Handelsbanken will offer financial products including equities and mutual funds through the platform to corporate and private customers.

The partnership builds on an existing long-term agreement between the two companies and will modernise Handelsbanken’s IT system.

Handelsbanken claims the new platform will enhance customer experience and enable the bank’s customers to enhance their investments.

The bank added that the self-service features will give customers a better overview of their assets and make it simpler to manage them.

“This collaboration enables us to always be innovative in the Wealth management field, as we will be able to upgrade the solution in a robust and innovative environment continuously,” said Cibyl Ekstrøm Kjerstad, head of wealth & asset management Norway, Handelsbanken. “This will be visible for our full customer base within savings, as it takes our full front-and back-end for our wealth offering to a new level.”
