Citi launches new digital client platform

Citi Commercial Bank has announced the launch of a new digital client platform.

The bank said the move forms part of its strategic investment plan to create a single-entry point digital platform for its clients.

CitiDirect Commercial Banking has combined the bank’s global products and services into one platform in a bid to give a clients a “360° consolidated view” their Citi banking relationship across cash, loans, trade, FX, servicing and onboarding.

Citi said that the platform is live in the US, with plans to pilot it later in the year across the UK, Hong Kong, India, and Singapore.

The platform includes data driven insights designed for decision making and efficient management of day-to-day banking interactions with Citi.

Through the platform customers of the bank can also digitally open accounts and request new products and services.

"The outcome is an innovative platform that responds to our clients’ complex needs and their expectations of a simple and intuitive digital banking experience.

"We are delighted with the response from clients and continue to invest whilst targeting key market roll outs throughout 2023 and beyond.”
