Curve is bringing wearable payments technology to customers across 31 European countries in a new partnership.
The UK-based FinTech will combine its app’s functions with wearable items, giving customers the ability to pay for goods with “speed and security”.
Curve users will be able to link their card to their wearable item using contactless payment provider DIGISEQ’s Manage-Mii app to enable payments “immediately”.
“We are very excited to partner with DIGISEQ to deliver new, exciting and innovative ways for people in over 30 countries to use their Curve card,” said Shachar Bialick, found and chief executive of Curve.
He continued: “Our work with DIGISEQ will help us bring Curve payments to wearable technology that people already use every day, furthering our mission to become the most consumer-centric financial tool in anyone’s wallet – or ring, bracelet, and anywhere else they choose to use DIGISEQ’s technology.”
The move comes after the FinTech recently launched in the US, with the company saying that take up of its platform has grown exponentially since its launch in 2018.
