Digital challenger bank Chase has launched its first credit card in the UK.
The card provides 0 per cent interest on purchases for up to 15 months, with no foreign exchange fees and no annual charges.
Key features include real-time balance updates, instant purchase notifications, and in-app tools such as spending controls and transaction tracking. Customers can also toggle certain spending features on or off directly from the app.
To apply for the credit card, users must first open a Chase account and check their eligibility via the bank’s mobile app.
Similar to Chase’s debit card, the credit card is numberless, meaning it does not display visible card numbers, expiry dates, or CVV codes. Instead, all details are securely stored within the Chase app, accessible only to the cardholder. This design adds an extra layer of security in case of loss or theft.
The app also allows users to freeze or unfreeze the card instantly and generate new card details without requiring a physical replacement.

Chase launched its UK digital bank in September 2021, marking JPMorgan Chase’s first retail banking venture outside the United States. The bank now serves over 1.6 million customers and holds £15 billion in deposits.
