Rapyd has announced three new hires in an attempt to scale up and penetrate the FinTech market.
The payment platform has appointed Helcio Nobre to chief product officer, Marc Winitz to chief of marketing, and Eran Nachshon to vice president of operations.
Nobre will be responsible for the evolution of Rapyd's product portfolio and the expansion of these solutions into new markets and territories. He brings more than 15 years of global e-commerce and product experience, including being senior vice president of e-commerce and mobile payment products at Visa where he drove Visa Token Services and Visa Checkout.
Winitz will be responsible for driving worldwide marketing to gain market traction and awareness for the company. He was previously chief marketing officer at i2C, a software-as-a-service payment solution provider, where he ran global marketing operations and worked with some of the world's largest banking and FinTech brands.
Nachshon will be in charge of global operations and risk management for Rapyd. Prior to joining the team, Nachshon was a vice president at Barclays Investment Bank and the chief operating officer at BondIT, another FinTech startup.
Rapyd announced a $40 million Series B round in February to expand the company's footprint globally.
