Monitise forging ahead

Monitise has partnered with another leading UK financial institution as part of a three-year mobile money services deal. Due to commercial considerations, it is currently unable to name the bank but says the deal is in line with its planned growth.

Last month, the UK outfit was named ‘Best Technology Supplier 2012’ by Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Beyond its international strategic partnerships with Visa Inc., Visa Europe, RBS and FIS, Monitise works with more than 300 banks and financial institutions and is forging new relationships in the UK and around the world with banks, technology partners, payments processors, financial services, content owners, MNOs and retailers. Other recent partnerships include leading technology and financial services companies Cognizant, CGI, on-demand e-commerce provider Venda as well as BlackBerry, via a person-to-person mobile payments launch in Indonesia.
