Payments community gears up for Money 20/20

Money 20/20 Europe is set to return to Copenhagen at the end of this month, featuring more than 380 industry speakers across 100 conference sessions.

Twenty top keynote speakers have also been confirmed, including Carlos Torres Vila, CEO of BBVA, Ashok Vaswani, CEO of Barclays UK, Jonathan Larsen, chief innovation officer at Ping An Group, Jack Dorsey, CEO and founder of Square, and Rita Liu, head of EMEA at Alipay.

The annual event, taking place for the second time from 26-28 June 2017, last year welcomed nearly 4,000 attendees from across the payments, finance and retail industries. This year’s show will cover topics such as the banking (r)evolution, shared ledgers, mobile payments and digital wallets, plus risk, security and fraud.

Pat Patel, content director at Money20/20 Europe, noted: “In addition to content focused purely on developments in payments (such as mobile payments and payment infrastructures), and banking (PSD2, AI, UX, APIs and open platforms), our coverage will include cutting-edge and real world applications of the blockchain (such as for digital identities and loyalty propositions), the sharing economy, virtual reality and the Internet of Things.”

A complete list of all the confirmed speakers can be found at www.money2020europe.com, and FStech readers wishing to attend can make savings on their passes using the discount code FSTECH2017.
