Heartland Financial USA has selected SunGard’s Ambit Commercial Lender to help improve its commercial lending operations.
The solution will initially provide Heartland with a single platform to be used for its small business lending centre. In addition, it will be implemented to automate the bank’s entire lending workflow for its commercial and agricultural loan origination processes to help reduce manual input and error, boost productivity and enhance process efficiency and data integrity.
Ken Erickson, executive vice president and chief credit officer at Heartland, says: “In commercial banking, having an efficient lending operation is vital to providing customer responsiveness and market competitiveness. With Ambit Commercial Lender, we are deploying a single platform to fully support our end-to-end lending operations, which will help improve productivity and lower costs throughout the entire lending process. SunGard’s solution will also help us adhere to our policies and procedures, as well as help ensure regulatory compliance.”
