Baillie Gifford opts for Cherwell Software

Baillie Gifford has selected Cherwell Software to support the day-to-day IT use of its employees.

The asset management firm, based in Edinburgh, was looking for a new service desk software solution that offered complete customisation and seamless upgrades. After reviewing a range of products, it opted for Cherwell Service Management.

Rob Whittaker, Baillie Gifford’s IT service desk manager, says that three things stood out about the company's solution. Firstly, how intuitive it is. With some of the products reviewed it was difficult even to see how to log a call at first glance. Secondly, Cherwell’s one-steps (launched manually or automatically) would help his team to save time and automate regular, repeatable tasks. Lastly, the codeless configuration technology and seamless upgrades could potentially save time and effort.
