US-based Thread Bank has appointed Marty Miracle as its new chief digital officer.
Miracle joins form Sutton Bank, which he joined in 2019, having most recently serving as chief technology officer.
During his time at Sutton Bank, he was responsible for leading the end-to-end transformation of the bank's technology and digital platforms; integrating AI, automation and the modernisation of core banking services; and establishing key corporate functions such as information security, risk management and technology strategy.
He has also previously worked for renowned companies such as consulting firm AtredisPartners, financial services firm Synovus and software company RiskLens, where he held executive positions focused on risk management, strategy and security.
In his new role, Miracle will lead the development and implementation of Thread's digital strategy, building on its integrated banking, corporate and personal solutions.
He will also oversee IT engineering, infrastructure and security functions to drive innovation and expand the integrated banking platform, ensuring system resilience and regulatory compliance and enabling seamless integrations with banks, middleware providers and compliance partners.
The move comes as the company seeks to further strengthen its commitment to digital transformation and technology-driven growth.Chris Black, chief executive and president and board member of Thread, said that Miracle brings “visionary leadership” that will help strengthen the company's commitments.
