Hodge Bank, a specialist UK lender and savings provider, has announced the appointment of Scott Hill as its new chief technology officer.
He joins the firm from technology company Target Group, where he spent a year as chief information officer.
Hill has also held roles at drinks manufacturer Diageo, where he worked as global head of website transformation strategy, IBM, Currys and Accenture.
In his new role, Hill will be responsible for leading Hodge’s technology vision and delivery, ensuring digital transformation continues to underpin the bank’s strategy and create simpler customer-centric financial solutions.
The bank said that his appointment comes at time when the bank is continuing to strengthen its leadership team and enhance its technology platforms to support long-term growth across its savings, mortgage, and commercial lending divisions.
“My career has taken me through some of the biggest names in the tech world, from global leaders like IBM and Accenture, where I honed my skills in strategic technology delivery and innovation,” Hill said. “These experiences have taught me a fundamental principle, one that aligns perfectly with the culture at Hodge Bank: to focus on the moments that matter.
“It’s at these critical junctures where the right technology and strategic decisions can not only solve problems but also create new opportunities and drive real business growth and more importantly create positive outcomes for customers.”
