Wells Fargo Android app added to Amazon

Wells Fargo has made its m-banking Android app available for download from the Amazon Appstore. This means that the US bank’s offering can now be used by Kindle Fire owners.

“Our goal is to provide services that are relevant to our customers, and our customers are enthusiastic about anytime, anywhere mobile banking,” says Brian Pearce, senior vice president and head of the retail mobile channel at Wells Fargo’s Internet Services Group. “We are excited about the benefits mobile banking offers consumers, from better day-to-day money management to greater peace of mind.”

The bank currently has more than seven million active consumer and small business customers using its mobile channel.
