The Vtesse Cirrus Hoddesdon datacentre has been upgraded.
John Kersley, general manager at Vtesse Cirrus, says: “The facility already has excellent power facilities, including diverse feeds from two separate national grid sub-stations and N+1 power and air conditioning resiliency. We’ve now added N+N redundancy to our UPS systems, diesel generators and air conditioning, which further enhances the facility - providing the kind of power and air conditioning redundancy that is normally found only in Tier IV facilities. This makes us extremely competitive and attractive to those companies within striking distance of London who have outgrown their current facilities, or who have recognised the need for storing their all-important data.”
