SAS/Teradata team on NBAD project

Teradata is working in partnership with SAS on a project involving the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD).

This will provide the bank with real-time analytics as it looks to expand its retail banking sector whilst maintaining its position in the corporate banking market.

The partnership will see the bank utilising SAS analytical software within Teradata’s data warehouses. “With the help of SAS and Teradata, we will be able to better analyse customer behaviour trends, as well as evaluate the profitability of our corporate and consumer banking divisions with drill-down capabilities to customer, channel, relationship and product profitability,” says Saher Arar, the deputy chief information officer at NBAD.
