WorldPay has launched a mobile payment reseller programme based on CellPoint Mobile’s mPoint mobile payment solution. The new programme means WorldPay can now process any type of mobile payment, such as remote mobile payments, proximity, online and Point of Sale transactions. The solution allows WorldPay to tailor its offering specifically for seamless mobile payment services for the retail and transport industries.

Communication systems integrator Datapoint has launched the first in a series of tools, Catalyst. The integrated suite of tools is designed to improve the business performance and operating efficiency of contact centres. The Datapoint Catalyst Compliance software application simplifies the way organisations collect, analyse and present up-to-date information about the performance of their contact centres.

A supplier of advance voice solutions, Speakerbus, has completed interoperability testing of Red Box Recorders’ call capture solution with i turret. The i turret uses existing IP-PBX infrastructure on either Avaya or Cisco to deliver a significant return on investment, compared to traditional trading platforms.

MasterCard has completed its acquisition of the prepaid Card Program Management operations of Travelex. The acquisition forms part of MasterCard’s strategic business goals and strengthens the company’s suite of global prepaid business assets, allowing MasterCard to play a greater role in the prepaid value chain supporting issuers and partners, it said – in particular outside the US, and in the cross-border payments space.

Unisys Corporation’s UK subsidiary has signed a contract to expand the Unisys Financial Services System (UFSS) mortgage and savings processing platform across the subsidiary businesses of UK Asset Resolution (UKAR). The solution will be used by UKAR to more efficiently manage around 400,000 mortgage accounts held by Northern Rock Asset Management (NRAM).
