Investec Bank and Telligent in social step

Investec Bank is providing enterprise social community software for its workforce using the Telligent platform. The international specialist banking and asset management group is taking advantage of Telligent’s native integration links to Sharepoint, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Active Directory and Office Communications Server.

“We needed a solution that could provide the social capabilities for collaboration across our entire global employee community, while also having the scope to one day become the single gateway into all internal applications. Capitalisation of existing Microsoft and .NET investments are key to this project and key to the selection of Telligent,” a spokesperson for Investec Bank explains.

“We understand the Microsoft technology stack better than any other social community vendor,” says Patrick Brandt, CEO at Telligent. “Our founder and CTO hails from Microsoft and our products help customers embrace their Microsoft investments and deliver an unbelievable social community experience for their employees, customers and partners.”
