Vertex has completed a move by ING Direct UK to the Omiga mortgage processing software.
As a result of the deployment, ING Direct’s application platform has migrated from VB6 based code to a .NET solution. Vertex will also provide additional development services following the migration.
An ING Direct spokesperson UK comments: “Deploying the .NET upgrade has been an important step for us as it provides a springboard for future mortgage developments. We are pleased to have had Vertex’s support and in depth knowledge throughout ensuring the transition was smooth and hassle free for us and our customers.”
