HSBC Commercial Banking has unveiled a new business banking app for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The app enables HSBC Business internet banking customers to access their accounts from anywhere in the world, 24/7

Huw Morgan, head of business banking at HSBC, comments: “We currently have over 400,000 business customers choosing to manage their accounts, via our award winning Business Internet Banking service. They range from start-ups to large corporates but the fundamentals are the same - our customers want safe, instant access to their business accounts on platforms that suit them, at a time that is convenient.”

Morgan adds: “By offering this, we are able to serve an increasing number of businesses, helping them keep track of their finances with increased flexibility and freeing up time for their businesses.”
