CGSC streamlines with Sequel software

Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC) is implementing Sequel's Eclipse Broking software. The aim is to replace multiple legacy systems with one broking system, with the project set to go live in the summer.

"Implementing Eclipse Broking is the first step in harmonising our technology across the group, which will bring business benefits straight away," says Brent Kruger, group chief information officer, CGSC. "The strength of the software and Sequel's track record for delivery will allow us to streamline many of our global processes, through an enhanced technology portfolio."

Michael Graham, Sequel's sales and marketing director, says: "We are seeing a trend - and CGSC's decision is the latest evidence of it - where forward thinking brokers are looking to modernise and consolidate their systems so they can best deal with regulation, London market initiatives and increasingly hungry competitors. CGSC wanted a market leading system so they came to us. They can now manage their business data more quickly, effectively and economically to the great benefit of their internal and external stakeholders.”
