Matthew is the Regulatory Advisory Practice and RegTech Partner at Novatus Advisory. He has over 18 years of compliance and regulatory implementation experience and was previously the UK Head of Capital Markets Regulatory Change for Deloitte. He is an industry expert on Transaction Reporting. By leading projects on the implementation of regulation and post-implementation reviews, and back reporting for MiFID and EMIR, Matthew has been able to pioneer methodologies that focus on peer comparisons whilst providing a full audit trail to the regulatory text. He has extensive experience of delivering complex regulatory implementations across the banking and asset management spaces, reporting directly to the client’s Boards.
