Gareth Lodge, Principle Analyst, Payments, Celent
Gareth's research focuses on Payments. As part of the payments team, his prime focus is on corporate payments, working closely with his colleagues in the Corporate Banking team.
He is a leading expert on:
- Bank payment processing, and is the analyst who has been covering payment services hubs the longest in the industry;
- Payment networks and infrastructures, including Swift, ACH and Wires;
- And real-time payments, a topic he has been active in since 2006, and has worked in on almost every continent.
Gareth has been widely quoted in the media, including American Banker, New York Times and BBC News, and is a frequent speaker at such events as Sibos, EBADay, NACHA Payments, as well as private events around the world.
Prior to Celent, Gareth worked for Secura Monde International, a leading cash consultancy; as Regional Research Director of European Payments at TowerGroup; and in corporate strategy at VocaLink Ltd, the UK ACH and ATM network.
Gareth has a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from the University of Portsmouth, and a Post-Graduate Degree in Information Science from the University of North London.
Radha Suvarna, Payments CPO, Finastra
A Product and Business leader with over 27 years of diversified experience across Payments, Cards, and Consumer Lending for Consumer and Commercial client segments. Built and transformed various functions and businesses across multiple geographies including U.S. and Asia.
Currently the Chief Product Officer for Payments at Finastra, responsible for the overall strategy, execution and build-out of payment processing engines and Financial messaging solutions.
Prior to this, Radha was the EVP/Head of Enterprise Payments for Citizens bank, with responsibility for Enterprise Payment platforms, Consumer payment products, Treasury payments strategy, and Payments innovation. During this time, Radha was the Chair of Secure Token Exchange board at The Clearing House (TCH). Before joining Citizens, Radha spent over 20 years at Citi. He was the head of Digital Payments & Lending for US Consumer bank at Citigroup, with responsibilities for end-to-end mobile/ web products for money movement, digital commerce, unsecured loans, and associated industry partnerships with big-tech and fintechs.
Radha held number of diversified roles prior to that, including P&L ownership for Credit Cards/Loans/Merchant Acquiring portfolio for Citibank Singapore, Citi Asia Network relationship lead with Visa/ MC, and Credit Risk Manager at Citibank US.

Manish is a Fintech leader with 20+ years of experience in building & scaling B2B/B2C payment products innovations, managing global cross-functional teams, related product revenues and delivering complex transformation globally across UK, Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.

Sairoze has worked in payments policy within UK Finance since its inception as a leading trade association and voice for the banking and finance industry. With a career as analyst and strategist in a range of sectors characterised by innovation and disruption including mobile telecoms, broadcast and music industries, Sairoze brings her experience to the payments sector as it also undergoes transformative change. Through this, she engages with regulators and industry in identifying, articulating and addressing strategic and policy issues facing the payments sector.
