Speaker profile: Doug Robertson

Doug Robertson is Group Head of Responsible AI at HSBC, leading the strategic implementation of safe and responsible AI practices across the Group, including governance, risk management, and AI policy and regulatory delivery. Previously, Doug spent over a decade at JP Morgan Chase & Co., where he led AI Oversight and Governance within the Chief Data & Analytics Office and held roles in operational risk, regulatory management, and investment monitoring. He holds an MBA and a BA in Business and Management from the University of Exeter. Doug recently returned to the UK with his wife and two children after working in New York and is now based in the south of England. Outside work, he enjoys rugby, golf, motorsport, and hiking.
