Speaker Profile: Tom Martin

Tom is a transformation and technology leader with a proven track record of delivering market-leading performance through, amongst other technologies, advanced AI and Machine Learning solutions. His passion for innovation radically shifts customer experience and has earned multiple awards in the UK financial services market. At Lloyds Banking Group he is the Business Platform Lead for Economic Crime Prevention (ECP), providing world-leading ECP services to all parts of the Group. This role sits at the heart of Helping Britain Prosper, using the power of technology and the Group’s data to fight fraud and financial crime. The Group has invested significantly in Economic Crime Prevention, delivering a meaningful and positive impact. Tom is an industry thought-leader whose purpose-driven approach helps Lloyds Banking Group be a true force for good. He is also the Group’s Ambassador for the East of England, building regional relationships on behalf of the Group and representing Lloyds Banking Group with key stakeholders from Government ministers to charities. Tom has worked as an Executive in Financial Services for over a decade and has lived and worked across the UK, Europe, and Asia. Tom is an Engineer, holding a First-Class degree from the University of Birmingham and an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge (Judge Business School). In 2016, he was awarded the Freedom of the City of London for services to Financial Services and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
