Saffron Building Society is the first financial institution to go live with Burrow’s automated pre-application qualification solution for new mortgage customers.
A statement claimed that this was the UK’s first on-boarding as a service technology that allows a mortgage lender to score, rank and convert website visitors.
Lenders can accurately pre-qualify customer mortgage enquiries with the white-labelled platform, according to Burrow, part of the DPR Group.
Customers are taken through a short conversational form resulting in a personalised mortgage report that includes eligibility assessment, a maximum loan and tailored product options.
Saffron Building Society’s chief executive Colin Field said: “As a regional building society, we pride ourselves on service and customer centricity – we take a traditional, yet digital approach to serving our customers which also applies to our underwriting approach.
