Nationwide renews TCS partnership

Nationwide Building Society has renewed its technology partnership with Tata Consultancy Services, (TCS) with the aim of strengthening its operational agility and resilience.

Nationwide has been collaborating with TCS for the last 10 years with a strategic focus on the transformation of its core technology stack to help accelerate the development of new services and more innovative experiences for customers.

Under the terms of the most recent agreement, Nationwide will be able to more fully leverage TCS’ range of services to transform its strategic applications and IT infrastructure.

Additionally, TCS will support the Building Society’s move to new Agile ways of working, using a DevSecOps approach, as it embraces newer technologies.

Nationwide said it had taken the decision to renew the partnership following TCS’ successful support on several projects including regional brand integration, consolidation and simplification of its data centre operations and more lately support for its resiliency agenda.

Gary Delooze, chief information officer, at Nationwide Building Society, said: “The new agreement reaffirms our confidence in the decade long partnership with TCS and we look forward to continuing to work together to deliver Nationwide’s IT strategy."

He added: “Our continued technology investments will simplify our IT estate and create the platforms and services necessary to meet the future needs of our members. The partnership with TCS will help us meet these challenges while prioritising the security and resilience our members expect every day.”
