Lloyds customers were unable to access their accounts on Wednesday due to an outage of the bank's app, which has since been resolved.
The outage is the second time the app has gone offline following an outage earlier this month.
Almost three thousand users reported issues on Downdetector and the outage also extended to customers from Halifax and Bank of Scotland which are owned by the Lloyds Group.
Over 700 users from Halifax submitted issues to Downdetector as did a similar number from Bank of Scotland.
Responding to a customer on social media platform X, Lloyds said: "We’re on it and working to get things back to normal as quickly as we can.”
A spokesperson later posted that the issue had been resolved: "Our apps are now back up and running. We’re aware some customers experienced difficulties accessing them for a short period earlier today, and we worked quickly to restore services."
In March, some users of the Lloyds banking app reported seeing other customers' transactions on their accounts.
This included information such as wage payments, National Insurance numbers, and benefits payments.
Last week, Monzo customers were hit by a nearly four-and-a-half-hour app outage, affecting their ability to transfer money or make investments.
The mobile-first bank is accessible almost solely via the app, leaving customers without access to their current or savings accounts as well as investment portfolios. Monzo customers on paid plans can also access select retail discounts in the app, which were rendered inaccessible for the duration of the outage.
