ClearBank partners Temenos for payments

ClearBank has formed a strategic relationship with Temenos to provide a faster route to market for real-time payments services in the cloud.

Temenos and ClearBank’s joint customers will get end-to-end service and rapid access to Bacs Payment Schemes, CHAPS and Faster Payments.

The collaboration is also aimed at futureproofing payments capabilities, supporting easier compliance with changing payments regulation.

ClearBank chief executive Charles McManus stated: “We are excited to expand our combined offering outside of the UK payments market as our alliance strengthens over time.”

Des Noctor, regional director for the UK at Temenos, commented: “The payments market is growing at an astronomical pace in response to digital banking adoption and swelling payments volumes.

“At this pivotal time, it is vital that banks have a fast and effortless route to market so they can quickly respond to customer appetite for real-time cloud payments.”
