General News: RBS moves to improve the financial supply chain

 

 

Royal Bank of Scotland Group is contracting Accountis to provide a VAT-compliant e-invoicing solution and service to help its corporate customers increase the visibility of their financial supply chain and optimise working capital

The new RBS service will provide customers with detailed data, such as proof of delivery, acceptance, query and approval status, for all documents involved in a business transaction, replacing slow and costly paper-based processes with online technology.

As Ian Watkinson, head of e-invoicing at RBS, explains: “We see this as a strategic addition to our portfolio and a fast track way
