JPMorgan Treasury Services is opening an operations centre in Bydgoszcz, Poland. It will serve the Global Trade Services division’s clients in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa and was unveiled by Heidi Miller, the bank’s CEO for treasury & securities, alongside the mayor of the northern Polish city and representatives of the country’s Chamber of Commerce.
The operations centre, packed with telecoms and customer relationship management technology, will provide full back office
support for JPMorgan’s trade finance and logistics clients in the Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) region. It is hoped it
will also provide a gateway into the growing Eastern European market place, an increasingly important area now that western European countries are facing a downturn.
