Contactless cards come to Poland

Bank Zachodni (BZWBK), one of Poland’s leading banks with over £7 billion in assets, is introducing the country’s first contactless prepaid cards. Aimed at the bank’s customers, and those without a bank account, the new card is equipped with both a chip and a magnetic stripe to allow it to be used in traditional and contactless environments around the world. The new launch is supported by Metavante’s Cortex card processing software platform and can be used wherever the Mastercard and Maestro cards are accepted

network to improve the efficiency of its operations


Messaging tool installed by postbank for trade management

Postbank AG is using integration and messaging solutions from Tibco to give it the flexibility to operate in
the new trading environment brought about by the EU’s Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID)
