The tenth annual FST Awards 2010 will be held on 25 March at the Lancaster London Hotel, London. The event attracts guests from all sectors of the financial services industry. RBS, Allied Irish and Barclays sent in entries from their retail banking operations, with Citi, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse highlighting wholesale banking IT projects. In the insurance space, there was L&G, Confused.com and Wesleyan Assurance, alongside building societies, such as Newcastle and Nottingham. Infrastructure providers, such as VocaLink and Chi-X, were also in attendance.
The FST Awards, celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, aim to recognise excellence and innovation in the field of information technology within the UK and EMEA financial sector. These prestigious awards are designed to emphasise the importance of IT as a key driver in business and to acknowledge and reward IT specialists working within the sector. The primary criteria for judging is the delivery of definable and significant business benefits, innovation and originality of application.
