Veracity Payment Solutions has partnered with Sysnet Global Solutions to offer merchants a single solution for PCI DSS compliance. Veracity’s customers will be able to update their PCI DSS compliance on an annual basis using Sysnet’s web-based Securus portal. Sysnet Global Solutions is a worldwide provider of information security assurance and payment card industry compliance services.
Gemalto has launched a multi-application reader for contactless and contact versatility. The PROX DU smart card reader is dual-interfaced, and aids access to a host of applications using both contactless and contact technologies, with one single device, including employee corporate badge, electronic identity and healthcare.
IT security risk and compliance management solutions provider, Qualys®, has launched QualysGuard PCI 5.0, a simplified route to meeting the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance requirements. The new version includes updates following new Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) requirements released in March 2010, and a simplified user interface with workflows. This aims to help customers to easily and accurately detect security vulnerabilities and efficiently remediate PCI compliance issues.
SunGard has launched its Ambit Credit Risk Management solutions suite, designed to aid commercial and retail banks in increasing their risk-adjusted performance through better lending decisions. The suite is made up of Ambit Credit Assessment, Ambit Credit Portfolio Monitoring, Ambit Capital Management and Ambit Profitability Analysis. It is hoped that the single solutions suite will support banks’ credit risk software and consulting needs.
Fiserv has launched its RemitStream Remote Property Management Lockbox Service, designed to help property management companies receiving assessment or rent payments in the offices automate the assessment collection process and potentially improve cash flow. The new solution allows companies to remotely capture assessment cheques and coupons for multiple homeowners associations and transmit them electronically to a central lockbox site for processing.
