Yolt bolsters money app offering

ING-backed money management app Yolt has released a series of new updates today, following the apps launch earlier this year.
Yolt lets users view their accounts and credit cards in one place, set budgets and plan for upcoming expenditures. The new upgrade has improved the app’s spending categories and extended them with the most requested ones.
Additionally, a new option to tag will allow users to hashtag a transaction with anything they wish and add spending notes to individual transactions. Android users will also now be able to use fingerprint login.
Yolt has also launched a new partnership with money transfer comparison platform Moneytis, which will give users the option to compare ways to transfer money worldwide and search for deals directly through the Yolt app.
Frank Jan Risseeuw, CEO of Yolt, said: “Yolt users told us they wanted more options to track their spending – so we have added more spending categories to the app and a tagging option. This provides convenience, speed and customises the Yolt experience for every user.
“We know that everyone has their own individual habits and routines when it comes to saving, spending and budgeting and we want to provide the options to make money management a simple and enjoyable experience.”
Etienne Tatur, CTO and co-founder of Moneytise, added: “We believe that finance projects are bricks that can be put together to create flawless experiences and more value for the customer. The partnership with Yolt is perfectly aligned with our vision as we believe the Yolt team can provide a great experience for the user while using our platform in the backend.”
