Dashwood Brewer & Phipps has upgraded to the latest version of Sequel's Eclipse broking software.

The specialist Lloyd's broker says it has opted for the upgrade to better serve its growing user base and allow it to handle its increasing volume of business. Maryse Hazell, IT director and compliance officer at Dashwood Brewer & Phipps, says: "We were already a long-standing Sequel customer and we've decided to invest in the new Eclipse software upgrade. It will further streamline our business and help us achieve our business objectives."

Michael Graham, Sequel's sales and marketing director, comments: “The upgrade is significant as it's indicative of a trend. Forward thinking brokers and carriers are making the most of the current market place - and preparing for the increasing challenges of regulation, reform and a toughening competitive environment - by equipping themselves with modern, powerful and flexible systems to help them improve their service to stakeholders and actively build their businesses for the future.”
