Two million London bus journeys have now been paid for via contactless cards.
Transport for London (TfL) launched contactless acceptance in December 2012 and plans are afoot to roll it out on the Tube, DLR, London Overground and trams by year end.
It reports that the two millionth touch in came on Monday morning at 6.38am on route 21, Bricklayers Arms. According to TfL, the top five contactless bus routes are currently 38, 73, 55, 149 & 243. Make of that what you will.
