American Express has gone live on Google+. The company says it will use the social networking site to provide a variety of exclusive content, such as the latest news and customer offers.

A message posted on the page says: "Welcome to the official American Express Google+ page! We are just getting started so be sure to check back often for inside access to news, exclusive Cardmember offers & experiences."
